How much is a cab from Udaipur airport?
Airport transfers within the city are a flat ₹499 for any point within 35 km. Outstation transfers are fixed too, for example ₹1,200 to Nathdwara and ₹2,000 to Kumbhalgarh. The fare is agreed before your ride, with no surge and no negotiation.
How do I book a cab with Aavre?
You book directly with us on WhatsApp. Send your pickup point, destination, date and number of guests, and we confirm your ride and the fixed fare before you travel.
Do you charge extra at night or during peak season?
No. Your fare is fixed and the same at any hour and any time of year. There is no night surcharge and no seasonal surge pricing.
How many people can the cab seat?
Every Aavre cab sits up to 4 guests. We run two models, the BYD E6 and the Tata Punch EV, and both seat the same number. What changes between them is luggage room.
How much luggage fits in an Aavre cab?
The BYD E6 takes four large suitcases, two cabin suitcases and a bunch of backpacks, with all four seats taken. The Tata Punch EV takes two medium suitcases, one cabin bag and a couple of backpacks. Tell us what you are carrying when you book on WhatsApp and we send the car that fits it.
What cars does Aavre use?
Two electric models. The BYD E6 is a full size electric MPV that swallows four large suitcases along with cabin bags, which we use for airport runs with full luggage, outstation days and families. The Tata Punch EV is a compact electric SUV that takes two medium suitcases and a cabin bag, which we use for city transfers and sightseeing. Both sit up to 4 guests and both are charged from rooftop solar at our own base.
Can four adults travel with four large suitcases?
Yes, in the BYD E6. It takes four large suitcases along with two cabin suitcases and backpacks while still sitting up to 4 guests, so nothing rides on a lap. The Tata Punch EV will not do this and we will not pretend otherwise. Ask for the BYD when you book if you are carrying a full set of checked bags.
Can I choose which car comes?
Yes. Name the BYD E6 or the Tata Punch EV when you book on WhatsApp, or simply tell us how many bags you have and let us choose. There is no charge for asking, and we would rather send the bigger car than have you travel with a suitcase on your knees.
We are five or six people travelling together. Can you take us?
That is two cars rather than one, and we will say so when you book rather than squeezing you in. Both cars are pre confirmed and both arrive together, so the group travels as one. Message us with your group size and luggage and we will quote the pair before you travel.
Which car is better for a day trip to Kumbhalgarh or Chittorgarh?
The BYD E6, if you have the choice. Both cars complete the round trip comfortably and the range is worked out before the car leaves, but these are long days of over 200 kilometres with climbs in them, and the extra space matters more at hour eight than at hour one. For city sightseeing, where the car stops every forty minutes, the Tata Punch EV is the easier car through the old city lanes.
Do you offer day trips from Udaipur?
Yes. We run fixed fare trips to Kumbhalgarh, Chittorgarh, Ranakpur and Nathdwara, along with half day and full day hire for sightseeing at your own pace.
Are your cabs safe?
Yes. Our cars are 5 star safety rated with 6 airbags, a dashcam and GPS on every ride, so you are looked after from pickup to drop.
Are your cabs electric?
Yes, and they are charged entirely from solar panels on our own roof, so nothing is drawn from the grid. That means no exhaust on the road and no coal behind the plug. Against a comparable diesel cab, it saves close to 50 kg of CO2 on a Kumbhalgarh and Ranakpur day.
